Hello my name is Jair Brenis, I work for renovatio Company. I´m responsable for Latinamerican Development and my main role is to meet with clients and to study of new markets.

Our company was founded 20 years ago by Alejandro Rodriguez. He developed a new way to do bussines based on demand. He started selling new and innovative products by the newspaper the point was he had been selling without the product, only when he has a good number of orders he bougth the product and started to deliver it, that was an incredible way to do bussines.

Now his company has branches for all Mexico, EUA, Canada and Central America.
Since 1992 we started to do bussines in South America.

Our products are basically natural medicines and crative developments, we travell for over the world seeking new developments in Universities and fairs. When we find an interesting product we test it and if the product shows itself to be exelent we buy it, and start to promote it.

As you can see in the graph our sales have increase since 1996 in more than 200% per year. For this reason we are expecting return on our investment in less than one year and if we expand the company in more countries in the next two years we are going to control 65% of the market in south america. Actually Our products have a large market in chile and Brasil.

Children's Day

This saturday we had to participate in an event for the children organizated by the school. Actually it was very amusing. There was a play, mini games, a hounted house and many other activities.
Before this I couldn't stay with a boy for more than five minutes but now I have a better opinion about them. Actually I belive that we need to do things like that more often.
And I cant belive what I'm saying!!!.

Ashley Qualls an amazing teenager

Wow, it's a great story that shows us, how a simple idea can become a great bussines.

She is a person who could see a thing that other couldn't and use her own resoucers to make it, I feel happy when I hear about people like Ashley, because It's inspiring to know that other people are making incredible things with just a few, and in a way that many can consider ridiculous, but I belive that there is exactly their secret for the succsess, do somenthing that others consider ridiculous and do somenthing that others can't imagine.

Ashley trusted in herself and in her bussines and it makes her deserving of all the succces.

MEMO

SUBJECT: Productivity and quality-control problems.

As you know our productivity has fallen in the last trimester, this was happened due to the fact that we ordered 6 new machines wich was installed incorrectly. Moreover the new control system was so confuse, that all our engineers need time to got used to it.

That caused the problems in productivity and quality-control.

In addition to this many workers quited, and many others were fired three weeks ago, that brought shortage problems in the plant, due to that it was necesary ,that many employes worked extra hours causing a decrease in their personal productivity.

In order to solved all this problems. new people are being hired right now and all our employes had been trained in the use of the new system, that is making us working faster and efficiently.
Besides this all the quality-control procedures are being reviewed, because I belived that the old system wasn't worked enough well.

It is expected that we will have recovered our normal leves of productivity by the next month.
We are expecting that our productivity can incrase 2.3% in few weeks. and reach a 5.3% by next trimester.

"I HAVE A DREAM" Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.

This is one of the "greatest demostration for freedom in the history" and yes it is. When I was hearing the spech I could saw that this man was a wonderful leader not only for the black men, he was a great men for all the humanity. that day in Washington he was the voice of all the people who had been discriminated in the history. I want to take some of his words because I really feel the feeling of his word,for example when he speak about of the discontent of the black people and he warned to the goverment, that if they didn't hear them that would be fatal for the nation, because in that moment he was saying that black people had the power to take their rigths by the force if it were necessary, but just after that in the second part of the spech he started to said to the black people that they didn't have to do that because he had the hope, that the things could change in that moment because many people even withe people who was there in that moment support them, was started to understand that they need them to got a great nation. he really had a dream he tougth that all the people can live togheter in paz, gentil protestan, chatolic, thas is really a great dream that even now we are trying to make real.




And let me finish with this part.

REFLECTIONS TWO

We are going to start the midterms this week and we have to study for them but it's ok, Well let me start with my reflections, this week we read about how to have a different perspective and we can learned that "if we look at problems from new directions then we have unlimited possibilities for innovation" and that would be very useful, maybe if we can see our problems with a diferent perspective our life will be easier, cuz maybe we could find some creative solutions for our problems i think that is pretty interesting.

REFLECTIONS

This week we practise speaking, listening and reading and just rigth now we are practising writting we could learned about adjetives and adverbs, I could understand the difference between how long and how, it's a little dificult for me understand this, cuz I learned this form in a very diferent way. however i can improve with this practise.

By the way I couldn't do the speaking, I'm having a lot of work on tuesday teacher sorry..

Diana: well. I believe it is necessary to appoint a new production manager.

Jair: Why do you think that?

Diana: because Roland doesn’t have the enough support between the workers

Jair: This well. We must decide now what the best choice is.

Diana: I agree with you to reduce the level to which workers can earn a bonus of productivity, but also need to appoint a new production manager to ensure that workers are willing to be more productive

Lucia: And also we must reduce the recruiting of workers to cover bonus

Jair: O.K. So we go to reduce the level at which workers can earn a productivity bonus, with the appointment of a new production manager and with cutting the labour costs. Are you agree?

Today we correct our mistakes in adjectives and adverbs and we did too a short listening.
I have some probles with adjectives and adverbs, but today, I could check my own mistakes I like that cuz i think that is a great form to improve my english.

Jair: well I've been thinking that maybe if we reduce the level at wich workers can earn a productivity bonus the productivity will incrase.

Lucia. Maybe we should listen other opinios, I porpuse appoint a new productio manager, I think that would be the best option.

Diana: But, do that maybe will take a long time, for example the new production manager will need time to understand the problems in the company and also we have to cosider that we need time to choose the rigth person.

Lucia: we can cosider another options, like cut labour cost.

Jair. I don't think that cut labour cost would be the best option. I stay in my point, I still think that reduce the level of the bonus is the best, and we dont have to invest too much.

Lucia: Well I haven't thought in that, maybe you are rigth. What do you think Diana?

Diana: I support the idea of Jair
